Hard landing manufacturer, Tobermore, prepares for the next phase of its market expansion, with the appointment of its first ever board of directors.
The inaugural board will sit above the manufacturer’s current senior leadership team, providing strategic direction, governance and oversight.
Managing director, David Henderson, will take up the mantle of becoming the company’s first chairman.
Henderson accredits the decision to appoint an inaugural board to the lesson that to succeed, they must “be prepared to change and adapt”.
“So, as we continue to build on our strong foundations and look to the next exciting chapter in Tobermore’s story, the time is right to appoint our first board of directors, who will act as a voice of objective challenge and provide impartial oversight to the business.”
Henderson will be joined by Tobermore’s general manager, Glenn Robinson, who took on the and Daniel Anderson, who will serve in an independent non-executive capacity.
Robinson adds that the trio’s appointment is exciting because it heralds the next phase of the company’s development and growth.
