Pro Landscaper launched the search for its tenth class of 30 Under 30: The Next Generation winners, in association with Green-tech on the first of May 2024. Now, there is only one week left to enter.

Recognising up-and-coming talent within the industry, the awards celebrate the range of achievements and ambitions from young people in horticulture. From sales to arboriculture, construction to design, or maintenance to landscape architecture, people aged 30 or under from all sectors of the industry are encouraged to apply.

Now into the tenth year of the awards, the 2024 class is set to bring the total number of winners to 300 since the initiative was first launched in 2015.

Pro Landscaper’s features writerAshleigh Brown, says, “Having only joined the industry in June last year, if I’ve learnt anything from my journey so far, it’s that next generation of landscapers, arboriculturists, garden designers, and horticulturists, are some of the most dedicated and enthusiastic of any industry I’ve come across. And, with such a huge focus on the health and sustainability of our planet, it’s been amazing to see the progression from each sector as each next generation steps up to take on the challenge.”

“I am honoured to be witness to the 2024 Class of Pro Landscaper’s 30 Under 30 Awards and cannot wait to meet the rising stars of the industry,” says Brown.

Partner Green-tech is also celebrating a milestone this year, marking 30 years since the company was first founded.

Kris Nellist, Green-tech’s managing director, says “I am delighted that Green-tech will continue our sponsorship of Pro Landscaper’s 30 Under 30: The Next Generation initiative. It’s a pivotal program that gains traction with each passing year.

“Within the landscaping and horticultural sectors, numerous career paths await, and this initiative plays a crucial role in showcasing them. Being recognised as a 30 Under 30 recipient is a remarkable milestone, offering avenues for personal advancement and professional growth. I urge all eligible individuals to seize this opportunity, invest in themselves, and submit their entries.” says Nellist.

To enter, nominate yourself or a colleague, as long as the nominee was aged 30 or under on 1 January 2024 and currently works within the horticulture, arboriculture, garden design or landscape sector. Entrants must have worked in the industry for at least one year.

The deadline for entries is 31 July 2024.
