Owned by designer and creative consultant, Leah Lane, the Grade II listed Mulberry House in Surrey is home to Lane, her husband and their two children.
Formerly the home farm of Farnham Castle, the early Georgian dwelling originally belonged to the bishopric of Winchester. Lane knows that when it comes to style, classic is key, and has returned the house to its former glory.
Mulberry House’s latest hidden gem is The Tree House.
Teaming up with Lane, Trex worked alongside Deckmasters to lay its composite decking around The Tree House, perfectly blending with the surrounding landscape.
In business for over 30 years, Trex has perfected the composite deck category, becoming one of the world’s largest manufacturers of wood-alternative decking products. Trex’s composite decking is high-performance and low-maintenance, and is weather, stain and fade-resistant. Its products also come with up to 50-year warranties.
Trex continues to make strides in outdoor engineering and innovation with environmental responsibility. Having never felled a single tree to manufacture its products, its composite decking is created from up to 95% recycled materials.
Designed to camouflage within the surrounding nature, Trex installed its Signature decking – the latest in the range of Trex products – in the shade Okracoke. The Signature range is designed to look exactly like timber, giving the look of real wood but with the longevity of composite.
Overlooking the garden’s countryside views, The Tree House stands proud in the Mulberry Garden. A gift from Lane’s late mother, it is destined to be enjoyed by the children and family alike for many years to come.
