A new equipment replacement fund will donate Stihl tools and PPE to those in need. The initiative is part of a new partnership between horticultural charity Perennial and kit brand Stihl GB.
There’s been a 21% increase in individuals from the sector seeking Perennial’s support and a significant rise in those accessing its online tools, says Perennial’s corporate partnership manager, Phil Swainston.
“Perennial serves as a lifeline for many in our community, and thus, Stihl’s invaluable support plays a crucial role in our ability to assist those within the horticulture community.”
Fundraising activities such as cycling, hikes and car washes will also be carried out by the Stihl team to raise money for Perennial, a charity which Stihl GB’s head of marketing Simon Hewitt says is “closely linked to our own values.”
“In pledging our support to Perennial and combining our efforts we hope together we can help many more people in horticulture,” he adds.
