by | 29 Feb 24 | Grounds Maintenance, News

Nurture Group has acquired Scottish Royal Warrant holder Roy Cowie Ltd, in a move to strengthen its northern presence.

The Aberdeen-based business operates across the northeast of Scotland, providing a range of services from commercial and domestic grounds maintenance, landscape construction and tree surgery.

The company, founded in 1994 also holds Royal Warrants to the late Queen Elizabeth II, and the Prince of Wales for its work at Balmoral Castle and Birkhall.

Nurture Group says it anticipates a “considerable presence in the region” once fully integrated, with a total 133 colleagues and a fleet of 67 vans split across landscape maintenance, landscape construction, winter gritting and tree surgery.

Executive chairman at Nurture, Peter Fane says this latest acquisition is a “landmark deal” which affords the company a “strong foundation to fully integrate [its] green and winter services across the whole northeast of Scotland.”

Roy Cowie Ltd’s managing director, Roy Cowie, will continue in a consultative role.
