The Society of Garden Designers (SGD) is bringing a new gardenscape stand to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show later this month, giving show visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in an English country garden setting.
Designed by SGD Member, Rosemary Coldstream MSGD, the new stand will feature products and services from the Society’s Affiliated Business Partners, including planting, garden furniture, flooring and pots and planters.
An image of a garden designed by Sue Townsend MSGD, photographed by Richard Bloom, will work as a theatrical backdrop to the stand; adorned with plant-filled pots and benches.
Coldstream says she wanted to “create a piece of garden theatre for the SGD” with a design that “celebrates beautiful planting.”
The courtyard garden’s planting will include roses, lavender salvias and erigeron in shades of pink, purple, yellow and white.
Show visitors will be able to view the work of many of the Society’s Registered Members in a portfolio that will sit on the stand, with quick QR code access to the designers own websites.
