Nurture Group has acquired Birmingham-based Midland Pest Control Ltd, in what marks the company’s 45th acquisition and strengthens its presence across the Midlands region.

The purchase will allow the Group to also consolidate its position in the UK pest control market.

Founded in 2000, Midland Pest Control says it is committed to protecting the environment by maximising sustainable practices with its pest control activities, in line with Nurture Groups environmental best practice commitment.

Peter Fane, Nurture Group founder and executive chairman comments on the deal, saying: “This acquisition is part of our broader strategy to build national scale in each of our verticals, generating cost synergies, and improving the density of our operations and underpinning our ability to compete strongly.”

Co-founder of Midland Pest Control, Steve Hurley adds the company has a long ‘admiration’ for the Groups green services.

Fane concludes with a statement for the year ahead: “2024 is going to be a strong year for Nurture, the foundations of which are seen in this deal.”
