Pro Landscaper has revealed the winners for its Sustainability & Biodiversity Awards, in association with Kress.
The awards recognise the companies and projects contributing towards a more sustainable future for their respective sectors.
More than 40 companies and projects were shortlisted across 12 categories, showcasing the innovation and initiatives on offer across the UK green workforce.
“Landscaping and green spaces are a big solution to managing climate change and by launching these awards we have been able to showcase the leading role our sector is already playing,” says David Grffiths, divisional director, Eljays44.
“It was great to see so many leading companies take part and read about the great work already being done and ambitions being set.”
“Congratulations to our inaugural winners, you have beaten some stiff competition and in doing so helping demonstrate the value of our sector. Thank you to our event partners for their support and all those that attended to celebrate with us.”
The ceremony took place at this year’s FutureScape on Wednesday 22 November at the ExCeL, London.
Jim Kirkwood, director of product management, Kress says: “We are proud to be the sponsor of the Pro Landscaper Sustainability & Biodiversity Awards.
“Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do at Kress, so it is important to us to recognise the contributions of industry towards this vital goal and to celebrate these important achievements towards a better, greener future for all.”
