Introducing the Marshalls Register

The Marshalls Register, established for over 20 years, is a national network of independent professional landscape installers, vetted annually by Marshalls. The Marshalls Register allows homeowners to find an approved installer who will complete their project to the highest standards. In total, more than 65,000 homeowners per year search the Marshalls Register for an accredited contractor. For professionals, the scheme provides a wealth of benefits including sales leads from Marshalls, further on-site training, access to free design services, personalised brochures, marketing support and product and installation guarantee. Members can also earn points on purchases of Marshalls products with a reward scheme, which can be spent on both business-related and personal rewards.

To ensure customers can expect the highest levels of quality, installers are assessed annually on their work. Upon joining the Marshalls Register, the installer’s skills and competence are evaluated, with annual follow up assessments to ensure the high standards are maintained. The assessment part of the process is very straightforward. The assessor will review the skills on display at every stage of the install as well as the overall aesthetics, approach to health and safety and consideration for the customer. Those who meet the required standard are added to the Marshalls Register and their details will appear when homeowners search for a local approved installer on the Marshalls website.

Annual Landscape Awards

Marshalls Register members can also enter their best work into the national Marshalls Register Awards, which recognises and celebrates professionals for their skills and high-quality work. The categories include Best Engineering Achievement, Most Creative Use of Marshalls Product, Best Project by a New Entrant, and the Coveted Contractor of the Year [National] Award. The national winners are voted for by Marshalls Register members and the business crowned Contractor of the Year wins the grand prize, which in previous years has been a pickup truck.

In March of this year, Marshalls ran a series of regional Roadshows across the country – from Glasgow to Exeter – giving local installers the chance to meet the team and find out more about Marshalls’ extensive product
offering and services. The Roadshows also included regional award ceremonies to celebrate the excellent work of Marshalls Register members in the local area.

With over 500+ in attendance, the events were well received and feedback from customers was excellent, with many reporting how much they appreciated the opportunity to see the new products and meet people in person.

Marshalls Rewards App

A further benefit of joining the Marshalls Register is access to the Marshalls Rewards App. Launched in 2022, the new Marshalls Rewards online account gives members quick and easy access to view their points balance and redeem rewards. It also allows them to complete small admin tasks, such as uploading the Hard Landscape Guarantee forms, with further feature development already planned.

Installers can choose to spend their points on business-related benefits such as tools, materials, branded workwear, and advanced CAD services. Alternatively, the points can be used for personal rewards such as gift cards, Virgin Experience Days, Just Eat vouchers, meals out and electrical items, including tablets, games consoles, wearable tech, TV’s and much more.

Since its launch, the new app has had a flurry of positive comments, with one of the early adopters noting: “The app was easy to download and had an instant log in. It was super easy to view how many points I had to spend on the fab choice of rewards on offer!” Another user was impressed by the convenience: “Really good, easy to use and being able to download to my phone is useful. The new CAD request form is quick and efficient with instant upload.”
